When Should I Contact IT Support?

Practiced supports Revit and BIM workflows along with related software.  For technical problems related to the functioning of your computer, please contact your IT support instead.  Here are a few examples:


Contact IT Support
  • Revit will not start
  • Revit is crashing regardless of which model is open
  • You need to install an addon or other software such as Rhino or Ideate Tools that requires permission.
EXCEPT PYREVIT - DOES NOT REQUIRE ADMIN PERMISSIONS
  • Help with printers in the office
  • General computer issues or issues with other non-BIM software like MS Office, Adobe CC, Bluebeam Revu
Contact Practiced BIM
  • For access to Revit projects on ACC or to add team members. 
  • Setting up a new project
  • For any Revit model issues or troubleshooting
  • For help using PyRevit or PyRevit tools
  • Using any standard add-ins like Ideate Tools
  • Issues with any Revit libraries or for the location of specific families. 
  • Questions about workflows or procedures involving Revit.
